Directions
- Remove turnip greens from turnip and rinse well. Chop into small pieces and set aside.
- Peel turnips and potatoes, cut into quarters and place in a pot with water. Boil until tender and drain. Transfer back to the pot and mash with a potato masher or fork.
- In a frying pan heat oil and saute garlic. Add turnip greens and cook until wilted.
- Combine wilted greens with mashed potatoes and turnips, adding milk slowly to form a smooth mash.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
