Easy Pizza Crust

This pizza crust is super east to make and comes out perfect every time!


Whole wheat pizza dough
Serves: two 12" thin crust pizzas
Prep Time: 25 min
Cooking Time: 10-12 min
Total:  37 min

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour (can be 1 cup whole wheat, 1 1/2 cups white)
1 packet dry rapid rising yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
3/4 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. In a large bowl, stir together flour and salt.  Then stir in yeast.
  2. Make a well in the middle and add the water and olive oil.
  3. Gently with a spoon until mostly combined, then transfer to a clean surface like a cutting board.
  4. Knead for about 4-5 minutes with the heel of your palms, the dough should become glossy and smooth.  If too sticky, add a bit more flour.
  5. Form a ball and return to bowl.  Cover with a clean dish towel or plastic wrap and let rise for 15 minutes.
  6. Cut dough ball into half, and spread one half thinly on a well oiled baking sheet.  Form the other half into a disk, wrap in plastic and freeze for later.
  7. Garnish with your favourite sauce and toppings, and then bake for 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven at 450F.
  8. Serve as an appetizer or as a main meal with a side salad.
