3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 cups milk, or almond milk
3 tbsp. sugar, to taste
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions
- Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup milk.
- In a small pot, whisk eggs, milk and cornstarch mixture over low heat.
- Stir continuously until mixture thickens to desired consistency.
- Add sugar and vanilla. Taste and adjust if necessary.
- Serve immediately. Custard will thicken as it cools.
