Apple, Blueberry and Cranberry Crumble

A delicious berry and apple crumble makes a great dessert. Easy to make and enjoyable for everyone!

Ingredients
Filling
4-5 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup fresh cranberries
2-3 tbsp. berry jam
1-2 tbsp. lemon juice

Crumble
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions
  1. To make the crumble, combine butter, oats, flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon in bowl.  Using a spatula or your hands, work mixture into a crumble.
  2. In another bowl, mix apples, blueberries and cranberries with jam and lemon juice.
  3. In a large, deep baking dish, put a bit of crumble to lightly cover the bottom.  Transfer fruit mixture to the dish, spreading it evenly.  Finally, sprinkle the rest of the crumble over top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 45-60 minutes, or until the top has browned.
  5. Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
