Serves: 40-50 savory toast fingers
8-9 slices of bread, multigrain, whole wheat, white
1 tbsp. Marmite
1/3 cup softened butter or margarine
1 packet powdered onion soup
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine Marmite, butter and soup mix.
- Spread mixture over each slice of bread and then cut each piece into thin finger-like slices, making 5-6 per slice of bread.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220 F for 1 hour, or until dry and crispy.
I have to say I hope they taste better than they look!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Marmite is one of those flavours that you either love or hate. If you're a Marmite lover give it a try and then decide.
