Serves: 8"x11" crumble, freezes well
115 g butter or margarine, melted
1 cup large flake rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. berry jam
2-3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 lemon, juiced
8 apples, cored, peeled and chopped into chunks

Directions
- To make the crumble, combine butter, oats, flour, baking powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 cup sugar in a large bowl.
- Place chopped apples in another large bowl. Add lemon, jam and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Mix well.
- In a large, deep baking dish, put a bit of crumble to lightly cover the bottom. Transfer the apple mixture to the dish, spreading it evenly. Finally, sprinkle the rest of the crumble over top of the apples.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 40 minutes, or until the top has browned.
- Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. Keep refrigerated or frozen.
