Serves: 10-12 squares
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup brown sugar, loosely packed
1-2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg, at room temperature
2-3 tbsp. natural peanut butter
2-4 tbsp. mixed berry jam
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda

Directions
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract with an electric mixer.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until almost combined. Fold with a spatula.
- Spread batter in a lightly greased 8"x8" baking pan.
- Place teaspoonfuls of peanut butter and jam on top of batter. With a knife, swirl peanut butter and jam throughout batter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F for 25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and cut into pieces.
